For our and your guest, once a month, there will be a genius artist, Jan Roszkowski – cellist and composer, graduate of the Music University. F. Chopin in Warsaw and Manhattan School in New York. He accepted the challenge with great commitment. He was not afraid of the darkness – which proves his real professionalism and passion for music. Especially for Saturday events, he has planned works of outstanding classical music classics and … And here is the surprise! Arranged songs from the genre of film music/jazz /rock for avant-garde improvisations. At the thought, we are shivering…

The first debut of Jan Roszkowski in DIFFERENT is already behind us (December 29, 2018). The guests were delighted – we too. We are sure that there will be a lot interesting things happend on the upcoming meetings!

The cost of dinner this evening is additionally PLN 20 per person, payable on spot in cash.

Jan Roszkowski – a graduate of the Music University of F. Chopin in Warsaw and Manhattan School in New York, laureate of the scholarships of Hans & Klara Bauer and Fulbright. In November 2012, he made his debut as a soloist at Steinway Hall in New York, and a month after his cello debut at the 14th Chopin & Friends Festival, the official premiere of The Aquarian Age’s first song took place, which was very enthusiastically received by the public in Manhattan. Jan devotes more and more time to composing. In 2017 he wrote the music for his first feature film “heart defect”, dir. Bogdan Kozula. Winner of three prizes at the XXVII National Competition of Chamber Ensembles in Wrocław and one prize at the Chamber Competition in Warsaw. He has performed at festivals: EFG London Jazz Festival, 26th Vilnius Jazz Festival (Vilnius), XIV Chopin & Friends Festival (New York) and Delemont Jazz Days (Switzerland).
